ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Authorities have made an arrest in the case of a young Alabama woman who disappeared while vacationing in Aruba, an Aruban official said Saturday.Mariaine Croes, a spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office, said Aruban authorities were not prepared to disclose why the person was arrested. Croes also would not say how the arrest was linked to the disappearance of Natalee Holloway nearly a year ago, on the final night of her high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island.
Croes would only say that the person who was arrested is 19 and has the initials “G.V.C.” In Aruba, when an arrest is announced, officials usually release only a suspect’s initials, and not a full name.

As you know, Natalee has not been found but Taylor and LaToyia have been found… murdered. The three parents have very similar ugly experiences, but with some important differences. Dr. Phil had Beth Twitty and several investigators (including FBI and Jamie Skeeters) on the show this afternoon to discuss the case. In this segment we see the investigators go to several Central/South American countries and try to find Natalee Holloway in the sex trade market.
Beth Twitty appeared on The Abrams Report to discuss the taking down of yellow ribbons [for Natalee] in her city, the rumors that Natalee is alive and in Mexico, and what Twitty wants changed in the investigation.

Beth Twitty appeared on Greta Monday night to discuss the recent decision of a judge to “release” Paul van der Sloot from the case. This means the elder van der Sloot can return to Aruba and apply for his job again in the Aruban government. Beth says she is not surprised and this is probably the same judge who released van der Sloot and all of the suspects. Twitty went on to say what she wished the investigators did in the beginning of the case.
Helen Lejuez, the Twitty family attorney, appeared on Greta to debunk and expose the lie that Arlene Schipper said last night. Schipper claimed that Beth Twitty met with Karol Janssen on her last visit to Aruba, however according to Helen that did not happen.
