As if Dean has any room to talk:

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP)—Democratic Party chairman Howard Dean on Wednesday called Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki an “anti-Semite” for failing to denounce Hezbollah for its attacks against Israel.

Al-Maliki has condemned Israel’s offensive, prompting several Democrats to boycott his address to a joint meeting of Congress and others to criticize him. Dean’s comments were the strongest to date.

“Thank God for Bill Nelson, because we’d have another crook in the United States Senate if it weren’t for him. He is going to beat the pants off Katherine Harris,” Dean said during his 20-minute address. “She doesn’t understand that it’s…improper to be chairman of a campaign and count the votes at the same time. This is not Russia and she is not Stalin.”

Note: Sorry, I accidently deleted this post.

Dean blames Bush for the crisis in the Middle East:

Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean accused President Bush last night of being weak on national defense and absent in the escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.

In remarks at San Diego State University, Dean urged activists to fan across the nation – including deep into the heart of Republican-rich “red” states – to tell voters that Bush has failed as president – including in national defense, which Republicans tout as their core strength.

Bill Clinton and moral in the same sentence, ha!

“If you think what’s going on in the Middle East today would be going on if the Democrats were in control, it wouldn’t, because we would have worked day after day after day to make sure we didn’t get where we are today. We would have had the moral authority that Bill Clinton had when he brought together the Northern Irish and the IRA, when he brought together the Israelis and the Palestinians.”

RightWinged has more.

Hat Tip, once again to Conservative Intelligence Report, who writes:

Dean was on and gave the same crap that he did to Wolf on CNN. Never answering a single question best I can tell. And note I mentioned “Axis of Evil”… that was never brought up to Dean, but O’Donnell did bring it up to Sen. Allen and put it at the bottom of the screen. Odd she didn’t mention it to the guy accusing the President of never thinking about NK.

Pundit Review linked with Howard Dean’s War Strategery

Hat Tip Conservative Intelligence Report, who writes:

Howard Dean goes more bezerk than Murtha. Saying republicans aren’t smart enough to protect America! My favorite is now he is ranting about North Korea, “the president has done nothing.” It was the left that laughed at the President when he constructed his Axis of Evil. Could someone remind me of the countries included? Maybe someone needs to play the footage of Albright cutting deals with NK under Clinton for Dean.

Dean is complains about Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld not serving abroad. (Key word: abroad)

BLITZER: Here’s what Karl Rove said last week in Manchester, New Hampshire. He said, “Like too many Democrats, it strikes me they are ready to give the green light to go to war. But when it gets tough, they fall back on that old party’s platform of cutting and running. They may be with you for the first few bullets, but they won’t be there for the last tough battles.” Karl Rove in New Hampshire last week.

DEAN: I thought Jack Murtha, who’s a 37-year-old decorated Marine, had the best retort. Karl Rove is sitting in his air conditioned office on his big fat you-know-what, and he’s never served. George Bush has never served abroad. Dick Cheney’s never served abroad. Don Rumsfeld’s never served abroad.

This comes from the same man who got a draft deferment and, according to Time magazine, “skiing and bumming around…He hit the slopes, tried pot, washed dishes, poured concrete and drank impressive amounts of beer.” Oh yes, and this comes from someone who hasn’t served abroad himself.

BLITZER: How worried are that Karl Rove, now that he won’t be indicted, charged with any crimes in connection with the leaking of the name of Scooter Libby—Scooter—excuse me, the leaking of the name of Valerie Plame—only Scooter Libby, the president’s former chief of staff, has been indicted in connection with that—how worried are you that Karl Rove will now be able to focus all of his attention on getting Republicans elected in November?

DEAN: Look, the president—Karl Rove keep—keeps repeating the same old tired stuff: Democrats are weak. Democrats are disorganized. Sometimes, he gets columnists to believe it.

This comes from a ‘man’ who says the same things about Republicans over and over and over again.

I could go on and on about the foolish things that have come out of Dean’s mouth, but I don’t think it’s necessary to repeat them.

Thanks to Howard Dean, we find out that it is Republicans that have brought the “culture of corruption” to Washington and it is them to blame for infecting poor little William Jefferson with the disease.

Howard Dean is a RACIST:

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) secretly placed political operatives in the city of New Orleans to work against the reelection efforts of incumbent Democrat Mayor Ray Nagin, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

DNC Chairman Howard Dean made the decision himself to back mayoral candidate and sitting Lieutenant Governor Mitch Landrieu (D-LA), sources reveal.

Dean came to the decision to back the white challenger, over the African-American incumbent Nagin, despite concerns amongst senior black officials in the Party that the DNC should stay neutral.

The DNC teams actively worked to defeat Nagin under the auspice of the committee’s voting rights program.

The party’s field efforts also coincided with a national effort by Democrat contributors to support Landrieu.

Landrieu had outraised Nagin by a wide margin – $3.3 million to $541,980.

Preliminary campaign finance reports indicate many of Landrieu’s contributions came from out of state white Democrat leaders and financiers, including a $1,000 contribution from Sen. Ben Nelson’s (D-NE) PAC.

The defeat of Mitch Landrieu is the latest setback for Dean’s often criticized field operation.

In his victory speech late Saturday night, Nagin praised President Bush.

“You and I have probably been the most vilified politicians in the country. But I want to thank you for moving that promise that you made in Jackson Square forward,” Nagin said.

By the way: For those of you who have difficulty understanding sarcasm or comedy of the ilk, the racist remark was a joke. Imagine if this was Mehlman and the two candidates were Republican. Yeah you betcha someone would be calling him a racist.

Just trust me; Dean makes a complete ass out of himself. Watch out for him saying “we have 4 people in every state”, referring to those who are getting the “Democratic message” out. Stewart, who joins in bringing down Dean, asks him what the plan is to take back the House and Senate. Dean pulls out a “door knocker” pamphlet and starts reading from—as if he doesn’t know his own talking points. Stewart tells Dean that the Democrats ARE NOT going to take back the House and Senate.

For the first time ever, I think, I completely agree with Stewart. I don’t care what the approval number is for Republicans in Congress; the Democrats will find some way to screw it up.

Dean on the 700 club:

HOWARD DEAN: The Democratic Party platform from 2004 says marriage is between a man and a woman. That’s what it says. I think where we may take exception with some religious leaders us that we believe inclusion, that everybody deserves to live with dignity and respect and that equal rights under the law are important.

How is that a misstatement? Perhaps I was wrong to characterize Dean as The Joker, he seems more like Two-Face to me.
