I’ll be taking the weekend off, unless breaking news warrants my presence.

Anyways, I have a big announcement on Monday, stay tuned.

I find this all highly amusing. The same people who mock Ian for an “obsession” with KO spend their time obsessing even more over Ian.

And what is with all the anti-christian posts? So that guy cheated in the Tour de France and happened to be christian. So? What does that have to do with anything? How about the Muslim religious leaders who constantly call for the deaths of innocent civilians?

I guess it dosent matter because…you know…them christians and their greed and corruption…and stuff.

    1. Because Christians should, and do, hold themselves to a higher moral standard than non-christians.

    2. Comparing a christian cheating to a muslim who advocates death is absurd. Islam is a religion of war, death, and bigotry. Christians realize this and expect it.

...yeah. That is why I said it. People were blasting christians because a guy who got caught cheating was a christian. It is incredibly petty and minor attack. I just find it strange that they use something like that to attack christianity but never mind the religious leaders who openly advocate murder.

I’m not directing any venom towards Christians…After seeing Landis’s parents on TV, I’d not have thought Floyd, would be a win at all costs cheat.

I do have a problem with the evangelical Christians mentality that believe an apocalyptic destruction of all but Israel will be “a precursor to global salvation”

I do have the same attitude as you towards most Christians…But when what some preach affects me…I think I’ve got the right to say something about it…IE. Wanting an apocalypse…So they can get taken from Earth by Jesus into Heaven.

So you are saying that Christians have the power to create the apocalypse so that Jesus will come? I really don’t think any one believes that. But if by that statement you think that is why we don’t criticize Israel and throw our support to Hezbollah, it really wouldn’t matter one way or the other. This is Israel’s battle and they don’t believe that Jesus was the Messiah and that he is coming again. They are fighting for thier survival as a people. They are not concerned about the apocalypse.

What chance of peace for the israelis/Palestinians…when fruit cake Robertson says stuff like this and the flock just lap it up.
“God considers this land to be his,” Pat Robertson said on his TV program “The 700 Club.” “You read the Bible and he says ‘This is my land,’ and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, ‘No, this is mine.”’

So everyone has free speech rights accept Christians? These things are in the Old Testament which is the history of Israel. But I think you are giving Robertson and his followers too much credit. How does what an American preacher say affect mid east peace? Do the Palestinians and Israelis look to him as an authority? I seriously doubt it.
