Guards at Gitmo claim they are the ones suffering real abuse.

The prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay during the war on terror have attacked their military guards hundreds of times, turning broken toilet parts, utensils, radios and even a bloody lizard tail into makeshift weapons, Pentagon reports say.

Incident reports reviewed by The Associated Press indicate Military Police guards are routinely head-butted, spat upon and doused by “cocktails” of feces, urine, vomit and sperm collected in meal cups by the prisoners.

They’ve been repeatedly grabbed, punched or assaulted by prisoners who reach through the small “bean holes” used to deliver food and blankets through cell doors, the reports say. Serious assaults requiring medical attention, however, are rare, the reports indicate.

Its about time! US guards should sue detainees who do those things. My husband is active duty but has never been to Gitmo, although we know several MPs who have, and the liberal stupidity that defends these animals is an insult to everything civilized. Geneva Convention rights for pigs and vultures?

When and where has there been any sanity about how we treat these terrorists and about how we treat our fine soldiers and Marines? Remember, these terrorists acting up and attacking our Marines were probably denied ice for their water or tea and that is the same thing as torture to the left!

    Wishful thinking.

Feed em water and hardtack. No more rice pilaf with rack of lamb.

Our marines should tear a few pages out of their Koran to cleanup the thrown excrement.

These are United States Marines and while there may be homosexuals serving with them, the term faggot is a demeaning term for the many non-homosexual Marines and if there are any, for homosexual Marines. Further, what would homosexuality have to do with this subject except you are a raging homophobe?

Yeah, and all they did was shoot at our troops on the battlefield… oops, I mean, they were just passing through, minding their own business when evil US troops arrested them and shipped them to Gitmo. Is that the BS that you liberals believe, or are you even more insane?

But but but unborn children would have bad lives if they were born, so it’s compassionate to kill them, because sometimes death is better than life, and anyone who disagrees is a wingnut fascist Christian who is no different than Osama!

I wonder… if it was biologically possible for a fetus to be on the battlefield shooting at our troops, would liberals defend it?

Of course defending that fetus would conflict with their “support” of the troops. But that wouldn’t be the first time they were stuck trying to defend the wrong side of argument.

I would think that being there guarding those who are given GC, while knowing if they get back out, they won’t give you the same GC rights is probably depressing. However, these people who are down there do there job well under a lot of pressure from people on left like yourself who think everyone is evil, except of course Hezbollah, Al Quaeda, and liberals such as yourself.

This is a story that needs to be reported, although the MSM probably doesn’t care.

I have worked in both a psychiatric hospital and a prison for nearly a decade and I have experienced this kind of treatment by prisoners or patients who have tried and sometimes succeeded in injuring colleagues.

The difference, of course, is that these animals at Gitmo are terrorists who have tried to kill or have actually killed American troops on the battlefield of Afghanistan or elsewhere.

More importantly, Gitmo is under a microscope more than any other prison in the world and the terrorist prisoners know it.

The prisoners pretty much feel they have nothing to lose and they will do anything to hurt or injure Americans and they know that many people around the world actually sympathize with them.

The International Red Cross is stationed directly on site at Gitmo and they can come and go as they please and visit any prisoners they wish and the Marines have no legal recourse against these animals if they are indeed assaulted by any of them.

I’ve been in MANY situations in which fellow colleagues and I were assaulted by prisoners/psychiatric patients, but we are able to get a little bit of “payback” once in awhile and out of range of the video cameras (wink, wink).

Due to the international pressure and unbelievable microscope surrounding detainees at Gitmo, the Marines basically have to take it without being able to lay the smackdown against the culprits out of fear that the detainees will play the “torture card” and the rest of the world would jump all over it.

By no means am I trying to equate my experience with convicted criminals or mentally ill patients with Islamic terrorists at Gitmo who would love nothing more than to kill each guard and their families, but I can certainly relate somewhat to the kind of difficult work they are doing.

These Marines are put in such a terrible position by having to deal with animals like that and I have the utmost respect for them for being able to maintain their professionalism while doing such dangerous work.

I thought pigs were like muslim kryptonite or something. Oh my god We are torturing them! I guess that is why many refuse to leave, there have been several instances reported were they have brought prisioners out for a transfer, and the prisioner refuses to leave. I guess ham, and getting to read harry potter are the far better than where ever else they would go.

The Nuremberg trials were held in an open court, with civilian judges from four countries, and defense lawyers. And these were some of the most vile pieces of human trash ever to despoil the planet.

The folks in Gitmo have been held incommunicado for up to 5 years, with no hope of ever confronting their accusers, and apparently no hope of ever getting out.
