Hezbollah …... wearing ski masks, hiding behind women and children, and launching rockets from homes and residential apartment buildings.

Ultimate Cowards. Scum of the Earth.

Waiting for lefties to find a way to defend the actions of these terrorists, or call the Israeli’s counter-offensive worse than Hezbollah’s tactics ….. tick, tick, tick.

If children get killed in this crossfire so be it. That’s war, and the price to be paid to exterminate the agressor. You take the problem OUT now..or it will be a worse problem later. And, of course, the children of NOW will be fighting YOU later. These lessons were learned thousands of years ago.

Notice I didn’t include “women” in this statement. In case you didnt notice, woman play a large role in the fighting on both sides today. To include woman with children is a bit ingenuous in todays world..as it was in centuries past.

The one thing Western Culture should be learning (and fast) is that PC (Political Correctness) when it comes to WAR, will get you killed and/or destroy your own civilization.

Keep Listening to MSM talking heads and NYT type leftist journalism and you will someday wake up a slave, in a burka, perhaps having your head sawed off….

So right under the noses of the UN, Hezbollah is able to amass 13,000 rockets near the border. These rockets not meant for anything but killing civilians in Israel, killing Jews and only Jews.
Terror group Hezbollah the cowards that they are hide behind women and children firing off their missiles in residential areas to kill civilians in Israel.
My question is when does the UN answer hard questions about their complicity or failure???

    It can’t be said enough..

What would happen if Hezbollah laid down arms? Peace.

What would happen if Israel laid down arms? They would be slaughtered by Muslims.

A few more points… These Muslim groups deliberately attack civilians. They hide in the civilian population (just like they do/did in Mosques/Schools/Hospitals in Iraq) so that they can scream and get the UN to condemn Israel for civilian casualties every time they retaliate.

Israel isn’t targeting civilians. They’ve dropped thousands of leaflets telling people to get out and THEY EVEN APOLOGIZED TODAY When was the last time Hezbollah apologized for killing civilians? When was the last time any Muslim group apologized for killing civilians, even though that is who they TARGET!?

We already know the liberal liars and the UN got busted for condemning Israel for attacking a UN building when supposedly there were no Hezbollah around… Sadly a day or two later emails surfaced, written by one of the UN workers killed in the strike talking about how Hezbollah was “everywhere”... They were hiding around the UN building just like they hide in civilian population. They know that either Israel won’t attack for fear of the world opinion, or that they will attack and suffer the consequences of uninformed world opinion.

F all of you who condemn Israel for the civilians that mistakenly were killed today, even when Israel apologizes, but never condemns bus/car bombers, etc.

He refused to adhere to UN sanctions and 12 years of diplomacy. He could have adhere at any time he wanted too. They even attempted for Saddam to seek asylum in another country but he refused. Bush gave him 48 hours to leave.

All the decades of deceit and cruelty have now reached an end. Saddam Hussein and his sons must leave Iraq within 48 hours. Their refusal to do so will result in military conflict commenced at a time of our choosing.

Wow, your post is actually the only one here that makes any sense!

Israel obviously screwed up on this one – even to them one rocket launcher less is not worth all the publicity it got for killing all these women and children. Hezbollah are imbeciles for doing what they do, but they’re ingenious after all – they knew that sooner or later Israel would bomb a shelter building, thus only adding fuel to the fire that’s surrounding them.

Hezbollah simply cannot be eliminated through air power alone. If the FBI tried to eliminate a gang in the comptons through air power, they’d quickly get a whole lot more hostility from the people living there. Israel is finding that same thing.

At best, it will occupy southern lebanon, and not allow most refugees to return. Hezbollah will still be intact and simply move north. Actually, this seems precisely what many Israeli hawks have wanted to do all along.

do you seriously think that Israel can bomb Hezbollah out of existance? Of course if they simply nuked Lebanon, that’d happen, but realisticly speaking, do you think they can DESTROY the entire organization simply by conventional bombing?

In any case, the really sad thing is, that the outcome of events is turning out exactly as Hezbollah wants it. Israel is certainly justified in defending itself but sometimes it seems that price it pays for attacks such as these far outweight the benefits of one less rocket launched.

    Try this

In a 2006 poll conducted by Reuters and the BBC, 11 percent of Americans named Fox News as the most trusted news source, which is more than any other source in the U.S. including ABC (4 percent), NBC (4 percent) and CBS (3 percent).

The network was launched on October 7, 1996 to 17 million cable subscribers. The network slowly rose to prominence in the late 1990s as it started chipping away at the ratings of competitor CNN. As of 2005, Fox News’ long-term viewer ratings exceed those of the two competing news channels, CNN and MSNBC, combined, in Nielsen points ratings, though as of late 2005 CNN still outnumbered Fox News in the number of unique viewers (Nielsen cumulative ratings). As of July 2006 FoxNews has been the 24 Hour Cable News Ratings leader for 55 consecutive months.

    FNC

I can’t help you don’t like or accept these stats. This is the way the media industry works. They live off their ratings. These stats disprove your claim that FNC is downmarket.

I can’t help it you don’t like or can’t accept this. But as the French say – c’est la vie

No, Smoker, it is not “okay” – as evidenced by the Israelis’ apology for the loss of civilian life. Have a look at some of the other video floating around the web if you’d like to see how Hizbollah hides its weapons among a civilian population THAT WAS WARNED IN ADVANCE BY ISRAEL TO EVACUATE THE AREA.
    http://vitalperspective.typepad.com/vital_perspective_clarity/
While you’re at it, why don’t we take a few swings at Hizbollah’s violations of the rules of war (e.g., Hizbollah fighters don’t wear identifiable uniforms). Then cry me a river over the 70% of Lebanese “civilians” who voiced their support of Hizbollah’s aggression of kidnapping Israeli soldiers from Israel. Hamas and Hizbollah started this war. Now it is up to Israel to do what is necessary to finish it.

The point I’m making about the time gap is that everyone is jumping to conclusions about what Israel did here, just like they did with the UN observation post last week. As we know now, Kofi was either lying or completely disconnected from his workers in the building who died shortly after writing emails saying that Hezbollah was operating all around their building. I know the media didn’t want to hear that part after they had smeared Israel for their actions as unjustified, but that’s the facts.

I just wish liberals and the blame Israel first crowd would wait until we know the truth. We know Hezbollah is a terrorist group that targets civilians as well as hides amongst their own civilians. Is it so hard to believe they may have bombed their own building, sense it didn’t collapse until 8 hours after Israel struck?

As for civilian casualties, if they aren’t smart enough to realize that their house is at risk because terrorists just launched a rocket beside it at Israel and they need to move now, then I don’t know what to say but perhaps this is another form of Darwin’s natural selection at work. If they are forced to stay there by Hezbollah, then you, HappySmoker and mislead liberals, need to be mad at Hezbollah, not Isreal. Radar only tells you where the rockets are coming from, not if there are still civilians nearby (remember Israel dropped leaflets pleading civilans to leave). This is the same dilemma we faced in taking out Saddam’s SAM sites before Gulf War 2.
