Sooooooooo…what are the examples that Bill defended the Nazis? That sounds kinda crazy given Bill’s position on things.

    Anyone?

I find it interesting that KO thinks himself so highly, wow, very histrionic.

Apparently O’Reilly pointed out once that some American soldiers committed a war crime by shooting surrendering SS officers anyway – I’ve read that O’Reilly may have been mistaken and that it was really SS officers shooting surrendering American soliders. Regardless, I don’t think noting that American soldiers occasionally commit acts which could be deemed “war crimes” (they do – just not very often) is “defending Nazis”.

And I think we’ve all seen enough times where Bill has gotten up in people’s faces to know that the looking down thing, did not happen.

Olbermann should really like O’reilly. Alough O’Reilly stomps Olbermann in the ratings, without O’Reilly, Olbermann doesn’t have a show.

Olbermann is like a piece of gum on O’Reilly’s shoe. The gum would never had gone anywhere, had it not been attached to the shoe.

And you’re right, after seeing Bill get up in Jeremy Glick’s face a couple years ago, I’m convinced he’s totally macho. He’s a real toughy.

It is all game of ‘gotcha’, KO is lame to try to twist into the fact the BO likes and defends Nazis, and hates our Vets. If KO was honest he would state that in reponse of Malmedy that SS Soilders were shot instead taken as POWs.

This is pure insanity. O’Reilly made an honest mistake and apologized for it. WTH is WRONG with you leftists?? Are you just completely morally bankrupt and completely dishonest?

Meanwhile, people like Senator Dick Durbin actually ARE comparing our troops to Nazis. Where’s Olbermann’s outrage at that? Oh right, Durbin’s a liberal Democrat, so it’s OK.

Anyway, all I want to point out is what a loser KO is. How pathetic must you be to make your entire career obsessing over Bill O’Reilly. His show sucks, his ratings are in the toilet, so he hopes that creating some bogus feud that O’Reilly doesn’t even acknowledge will gain him some gawkers who flip the channel over to MSNBC just to see “what is he going to say next!?” No one cares about Olberman, no one likes Olberman, he’s a pathetic failure and is shamelessly trying to get a couple curious looky-lous because no one actually likes his show. Pathetic is the only way to describe him.

I couldn’t even get through all of that. Wow. Does he realize what an idiot he sounds like when he says stuff like “Bill and I through the years…” as if Bill O’Reilly ever responds. Very rarely. There can be no feud or deul or fight, if the other person doesn’t think you are worth fighting. Bill obviously doesn’t think KO is worth it.

He reminds of the little dog in the Warner Bros cartoons “You and me are pals ain’t we Spike? Ya wanna go bury bones? Do ya, Spike?” Spike smacks that little dog right in the kisser. Ahhhhhhhhhhh shaddup! and continues to pick his teeth.

BO’s show is entertaining and informative. It ain’t Shakespeare, but it serves. KO’s show is an ass-licking contest. BO at least has the guts to invite guests that disagree with him. KO invites guests that reinforce what KO already believes. That lack of any sort of debate is the chief reason why KO’s ratings are so low. People recognize lame crap when they see it.

What kind of people would hire a guy, whose sole purpose in life is to taunt the #1 rated cable news guy.(Bill O’Reilly)

It’s a losing formula. Just ask Al Franken and Air America. The Keith Olbermann show has no content.

Put Keith Olbermann back on the sports desk, before he embarasses himself even more.

    True story…

I was at a golf course this weekend getting drunk and listening to this cool guy play some cover music. Anyhow at one point i was talking to this older couple (early 60s perhaps) we started to dable in politics.

We didn’t get very deep at all though, because politics these days are so hateful that its really best out of conversations at bars and such, unless you are surounded by people of like mind.

Anyhow, the “dabbling” in politics consisted of talking about cable news. The older couple said O’Reilly was an idiot. Then i quickly retorted with and what does that make Olbermann. And they defended him by saying he is just entertainment.

So i guess he should be on the comedy channel and not a news channel. Which would make sense to me. He is the King of Propoganda. Bill is a bit partisan, but this guy is purely partisan and is willing to twist any fact or totally make things up to make his choir sing to tune.

first of all Scooternyc, how pathetic are you that you have nothing to say so you have to bring a totally unrelated story in to the mix (sounds like KO who has nothing to say and has to complain about O’Reilly everynight)... Why do you liberals always do that? If you have no comment, then don’t have a comment… don’t come and link to fricken media matters. What’s funny is Coulter clearly just made a joke, being the shocktress that she is, and you wouldn’t have blinked had it been on the Daily Show or SNL… I assure you, they’ve gone much further than that.

Olbermann himself is like the left version of O’Reilly. He is just as far out and sometimes extreme in his views and actions. This upsets conservatives, as BO’s moves do liberals. I have no problem with Bill O’Reilly except that he claims to be “fair and balanced” and everyone knows he isn’t. I have no idea if this actually “tricks” anyone to believe they are getting fair views on every issue, but it definetly is false and is my only problem. If he just came out as another right-wing pundit, i’d be fine.

O’Reilly for the most part is fair and balanced.

KO comes across as a smug, arrogant, self-absorbed, narcissistic arse. “Ain’t I funny and clever; my show is like a merry-go-round. I report the same stories over and over, even if some of the info is out of context. It doesn’t matter cuz the dummies out there will believe my half-truths”.

I think the same nitwits that absorb KOs “news” are the same nitwits that watch Jerry Springer and his circus act. Now that’s entertainment.

From what I’ve read about KO, he’s burned some bridges in his career. Also, watching the guy that replaced him on Countdown, he doesn’t seem too enthused about having to report on the KOmann. He almost has to tone of “who really cares about KO but I have to do this”.

The MSM claims not to be biased by trying to sell the idea that a logical, passionless, reasoned, and methodical examination of the facts (like they “Supposedly” do) leads inexorably to liberal conclusions; that it’s not “Their Fault” the facts led them there – they just did.

Only KO actually believes that giant pile of horse-crap, and is so clueless to the fact that everyone else has figured out the MSM’s game he ends up standing out there looking like a nit-wit.

...looking like someone standing on the deck of the Titanic continuing to claim that it’s “Unsinkable” all the while it’s going under – totally unaware that everyone thinks he’s a loon.

  41. 41
    venmax Said:
    12:27 pm  [ Quote ]

    ...what’s more…

KO is part of the liberal crowd in the MSM who atcually believes that the reason conservative media is gaining in popularity is because it invites debate – and that news consumers care more about “watching people fight” than they do about the facts.

They continue to hang on to the belief that eventualy “the facts” (or their version of them) will play out and people will come back around to a liberal way of thinking.

Only KO and co. continue to be absolutely blind to how poor their “fact finding” has become. When they aren’t lying outright (Rathergate), they are selectively choosing which facts to present (virtually every MSM news broadcast), or they are making a conscious decision to refuse to cover certain facts in darker parts of the world for the sake of “Access” (CNN and the Hussein regime, more recently CNN and the Hezbollah “report”).

A lie is a lie – a half lie is a lie – and “Access” doesn’t meak jack if it doesn’t deliver anything but a set of talking points for a dictator.

Not really. I could make the argument that conservatives love to “gather” up their base and combatitively argue. Which is what BO does, hes hardly a journalist. He knows his conservative audience enjoys how angry and agressive he is with anyone he brings on his show. I’d agree that there aren’t many liberals left, the only one i can think of is James Carville thats in the public eye. Then again if you believe Coulter, I’m a crazy liberal baby killer.

This was an article that OReilly wrote LAST YEAR. He clearly states that Malmedy was an American massacre….

“After German SS troops massacred 86 American soldiers at Malmedy in Belgium on December 17th, 1944,”

In a heated exchange, words can come out that do not reflect what he is trying to say. It is most likely he meant the massacre AFTER Malmedy.

“some units like the US 11th Armored Division took revenge on captured German soldiers.”

He was referring to the massacres AFTER malmedy…

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chenogne_massacre

So he wasn’t lying. Yes he was wrong. Yes he messed up on wording. But he wasn’t blatantly lying.

So stop with the bullshit Keith “who?” Olbermann
