Michelle Malkin appeared on FOX News’ The O’Reilly Factor tonight to discuss anti-Americanism in San Francisco. Bill did a follow up segment because an anti-Factor measured passed in the city after O’Reilly attacked the city for its anti-Military views. Now the San Francisco Board of Education banned Jr. ROTC activities in the school system because of the Military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. Michelle puts in best in this description of San Fran:

I saw her on O’Reilly & I think he’s the one who is pandering. He talks abut all the anti-military things the SF city council and others do but will not call for a boycott like he quickly did (and he takes great credit for the slippage in tourism and wine sales) of France. I would like to see how Der Komisar Sandoval would handle a disaster such as an earthquake without the help of the National Guard and military that would surely be sent to bail their rear ends out. It would be nice if the feds sent no one but it won’t happen. I know, I am a mean person.

um, what was the point of that segment? i never understood what made michelle malkin relevant. her guest appearance did nothing to further what o’reilly wanted to say. i’ve never witnessed her argue a point while maintaining her composure and any semblance of professionalism. here, she has some lines prepared and still laughs at her own jokes.. great, she’s being one of o’reilly’s goons for the entire segment. o’reilly has some excellent points to make here but having her on the show to diss an entire city just makes it sound like meaningless fighting words.

Well 3m to get to your point of why Michelle was there, the problem was no one from the city council of San Fransico wants to come on the show to talk about their views. That is called cowardice, therefore if no one is coming on to defend their viewpoints you need to find someone to talk about this stuff with. MSNBC does it all the time, however i don’t believe they even invite people with opposing view points. As for why michelle malkin, probably because she talks about san fran at length in unhinged, i don’t really know though, haven’t read it.
The point is if the people making ridiculous comments won’t come out and defend them then there is nothing you can do for them.

Okay, here’s my solution which will take care of two birds with one stone.
The US border fence should be put all along California where it touches Oregon, Nevada and Arizona.
That takes care of the illegals, at least a large percentage of them, California and it’s left-coast politics is no longer part of the US, therefore it no longer gets military protection or Fed funds or representation in Wash DC.
The Board of Ed in San Fran can do whatever they want since most of them have lost brain cells from Tim Leary’s experimental drugs anyway.

JROTC has no discriminatory policy, the US military does according to them, so they punish groups with military ties. I’m not a pundit, but I’ll try to explain. I feel I have a pretty good understanding because at one time… a long time ago… yes… I was a liberal. Fortunately, I have now come to my senses. It’s a very complex phenomenon… based more in emotion than logic. It’s more about being anti-establishment. It’s about seeing how far they can push the envelope. Whatever the “norm” is… they will be against it. Protesting it. Mocking it. Because they are hip, trendy, cutting edge, and simply smarter than everybody else in their own minds. It’s intellectual arrogance.
It’s not really a philosophy anymore. It’s more an attitude… which is why they are constantly redefining their agenda. I’ve said this before, but they don’t have a belief system… they have “Talking Points”.
Anyhoo… I hope you can find some solace in the fact that probably 50% of liberals will one day grow up and come to their senses just as I did.
