NEWSPAPER PUBLISHER: Peggy, have you heard of a newspaper called the New York Times?PEGGY HILL: Apparently they have a very challenging puzzle.
PUBLISHER: You think they got their facts straight all the time? No way. Hell, half the time it seems like they are making it up as they go along.

Do I really need to comment on this, not really, but they did hit the nail on the head! Remember according to the MSM, The story is only false if someone proves it to be false!

It made me laugh, so thank you. These type of clips are important because there are not much entertainment that is anti-liberal establishment.

I can’t decide immediately what the political bent of this clip is. Remember that KOTH makes fun of these people as much as anything else. It seems to be a stereotype that the ignorant, rednecked right believes the NYT is making things up.
I think this may be a tongue in cheek barb at conservatism.

They were making fun of ther NY Times for running all Judy Miller’s stenographic White House lies about WMD. The VP would siphon garbage to her, then she’d report it on a Sunday morning front-page just hours before Dick Cheney would appear on Meet The Press to wave the NYT in viewers faces and say, “See, you don’t have to trust me, just read the liberal New York Times.” That’s why people don’t trust the TImes any more, because they giot used by the White House and became a propaganda organ that was exploited to start a war.

“The composition of the audience for ‘’King of the Hill’’ is telling. You might expect that a spoof of a small-town propane salesman and his beer-drinking buddies would attract mostly urban intellectuals, with their highly developed sense of irony. In fact, as Governor Easley long ago realized, the show’s primary viewer looks a lot like Hank Hill. According to Nielsen Media Research, the largest group of ‘’King of the Hill’’ viewers is made up of men between the ages of 18 and 49, and almost a quarter of those men own pickup trucks.”
The NYT, for what it’s worth, sees the show as a gentle satire, but notes
“If politicians and pundits are really so desperate to understand the values of conservative America without leaving their living rooms, then they should start setting the TiVo…”

PULITZER DAY…
The MSM is buzzing about its favorite topic: itself. Pulitzer Prizes being announced here. Via Drudge: NEW ORLEANS TIMES-PICAYUNE comes up big for Katrina coverage (‘Breaking News’ and ‘Public Service’)... Nicholas Kristof of NY TIMES wins for comm…

Exactly. The New York Times’ greatest mistakes, as with most of the MSM, has been with its pro-Bush reporting like Judy Miller’s. The MSM deserves scorn for its right-wing bias and inaccurate reporting.
On the other hand, when the New York Times gets a story right—like Risen and Lichtblau patriotically exposing the lawbreaking of the President—they deserve praise.

M.A. has been hitting the Jim Jones Jungle Juice a little too hard too!
“MSM…right-wing bias,” however he did get “inaccurate reporting,” right!
Patriotic exposure of of presidential lawbreaking—reads: it was patriotic of Jeanette Rankin to vote “NO” for war with Japan after they attacked, it’s “Patriotic” to burn the flag because you’re expressing your freedom…don’t do it in front of me though because I’ve taken an oath to defend it and the way I see it, I’ll express my freedom to kick your ass.
