I think both of them behaved rather badly. Resorting to name calling is pretty childish. I personally think Hannity invites people on his show and then starts to scream and pout when they disagree with him. I also don’t like Carville for the same reason. He screams and pouts whenever someone disagrees with him. If people are going to be invited onto a left wing or right wing show they should be treated with respect since they are invited guests. I don’t much care for left wing actors who aren’t very smart, but there are better ways to deal with people than getting into verbal altercations.

Does anyone else find it amusing that Hannity brought another person on the air to aid him, and he still took a beating?

Levin struck a cord with Baldwin when asked Baldwin “why is your wife so angry at you?” It was right after that question that Baldwin (read Ball-less) got up, and left with his “agent”.

Hannity might have crossed the line by letting personal attacks get to him and making some personal attacks himself, but Baldwin fled the fight. How will he live this down?

I think it wasnt exactly an attack on Alec’s X-wife, I think Hannity was referring to: when O’reilly was at the Democrat National Convention he had Alec Baldwin as a guest, Kim Basinger e-mailed or phoned in (I cant remember which) and started a big rucuss with Alec right in the middle of the interview (Maybe they were going through thier divorce at the time) but she was mad. And she did say she didnt like him (Alec) lol.
That was what Hannity was talking about. But I must say, it’s time someone smacked Alec Baldwin around a bit after all the crap he say’s about our President, the Troops, and this Country. Alec and his brother the youngest forget his name are nothing alike.

Both Alec Baldwin and Sean Hannity are successful in their realms of entertainment, however, Mark Levin is a piece of shit.

I think this is another reason why political hate radio is not good broadcasting. This sounded more like WWF ganging-up on than good broadcasting. It’s not thought-provoking. It doesn’t forward anyone’s agenda or opinions. It is just ugly. Baldwin was set up to be “punked” apparently (though I think he would have been the bigger man and true pro if he stuck in there). Whether it’s conspiracy mongering on Air America, bigotry on Weiner nee Savage, or Levin calling the kettle black when it comes to weight gain, it’s just all truly awful. First, you obviously have not taken the time to look at the original translation of the Bible. There are two words in the Greek that mean kill…one means “murder” and the other is in general. Each of the three times Jesus talks about “killing” he uses the Greek word that explicitly means “murder”; self-defense or accidents are not murder.

Second, sometimes loving someone is punishing them. Remember when your parents spanked you (that’s assuming they actually did…we know how liberals are on that corporal punishment thing) and they would say, “This hurts me more than it does you”? They still loved you, but the right thing to do was punish you. Love is not always nice…ever heard the expression “Tough love”? There are consequences you have to pay for your actions.

I don’t know much of anything about Baldwin, but I’ve seen Hannity play his insipid game of “Gotcha” way too many times to be impressed or even mildly interested.

Since Hannity and his ilk have made “tolerance” a dirty word, I see no reason to afford him any.

My Liberal and Conservative friends you need to learn a lesson in civil discourse and rational debate. That segment was an excellent illustration of passion and emotion overcoming reason and civil debate. This thread is in many ways also an example of this. Attacking someone for their weight or calling them a cabana boy or a loser or an idiot is the reason our enemies, our REAL enemies, celebrate. Such debate demonstrates disunity, confusion and weakness. Every day I help to fight against those enemies with persons of all politcal stripes and backgrounds. I don’t dismiss them or their contributions because I happen to disagree with their political views. It is the height of arrogance to think that you have nothing to learn and that everyone you disagree with must be stupid. It is also destructive idiocy to engage in rational debate without citing examples and forming your arguments logically and consistently. If you continue to do this in your personal lives and our politicians continue to do it as they govern we will fail. Then you will learn from the enemies of freedom what defeat truly means. And you will deserve it.
