Happy birthday! Enjoy my traffic as my gift to you. Ohwait, that’s a capitalist exchange for your product.
You’re really hard to buy for.

Better not take the night off or you’ll miss your birthday tomorrow? At any rate I consider your website a good way to keep an eye on the MSM bunch without actually watching all that BS. I’ll just settle for the highlights.
Keep up the good work. You deserve the night off.

Happy Birthday Ian! 18??

Ahh now that you’re 18 I’m sure you’ll be first in line tomorrow to sign up for military duty -seeing that you support this great war we’re in. I wish you luck in Iraq.
Or are you another Yellow Elephant?

As we all know, our country was founded on the idea that the only people who get a say in foreign policy are servicemen and pacifists. Ohcrap, that’s not what a representative republic is about!

Thanks all.
I guess SecretScoundrel is like all those other trolls, or rather hypocrites, who supported the Afghan war but didn’t serve. Chickenhawks!

20 years in the USMC here – now what are YOU going to do for your country Ian?
Speak ill of those who have served and fought for your right to say things on this blog?
You are NOW of the age where your manhood begins and what you do from here on out defines your character – what will your legacy be?

Ummm….trolls
Ian can do much to support the president and the war by managing this site, posting great articles, and sharing his views. His impact would be far less greater were he one soldier in Iraq. Not that one soldier can’t make a difference, but with Ian’s resources, he can reach more people in his current position.

“Speak ill of those who have served and fought for your right to say things on this blog?”
Ian has always been supportive of the troops and routinely exposes those who speak ill of those who fight for our rights.
Don’t be a jerk.

The Political Toddler…
If my math is correct, one of the most prominent bloggers in the ‘sphere just turned 4 and a half. Precocious little feller….

So, you’re enlisting to serve in Iraq, aren’t you? Because I’m sure someone of your intelligence and integrity is aware of the hypocrisy if you don’t.

Secretscoundral: What Ian is doing here is enough service in my book. Keep exposing the left, and sticking up for us troops.
And here is a present: the Patriot Act is almost renewed. Even Clinton voted “Yea?. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=2&vote=00023

A standard lib-line: If you support the war, why don’t you enlist and fight? Sounds similar to, “If you love (insert anything) so much, why don’t you marry it?” Very mature…
The reason our military is the best the world has ever seen is because they are all volunteers. Get Larry the Lib drafted, and he’ll go over there and fake an injury so he can come home and denigrate his comrades (cough) John Kerry.

Ian, Brett-
Our all-volunteer military that has accomplished great things was mostly recruited in 2004 and before, when our military was actually turning away applicants who met just the minimum requirements. Recruiters could be selective and recruit only those best suited to military service.
That’s no longer true. The military of the future is being recruited today, and it’s not looking good.
That’s where Ian comes in. Assuming he’s healthy and heterosexual, he seems like an excellent prospect.
If he really wants to Support President Bush, etc., he’d contact his local recruiter promptly.
And if he won’t, as is his right, he would add credibility to his “pro-war” posturing by fully disclosing his decision not to do so.
