New Years Eve funny:

I meant to post this earlier. On The Sean Hannity Show today, Sean and Mark “The Great One” Levin tore some PETA idiot a new one. The PETA representative thought that killing a dog is equal to killing a fish and what’s worse is she practically equated the death of an animal to a death of a human.

Juan Williams and Jim Pinkerton, both FOX News Contributors, appeared on Dayside to discuss how terrible domestic security is, even 4 years after 9/11. The two talk about several instances where security is still pre-9/11 technology.

POST CHRON – Last night’s “Hannity & Colmes” show delightfully demonstrated not only that Mr. Colmes would benefit from studying American law, but that he would be wise not to take on Wendy Long, no matter how much he wants to block Senate confirmation of Judge Samuel A. Alito, Jr. as the succcessor to Justice Sandra Day O’Connor as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, discretion being more important than valor and in his best interest in this instance.

Wendy Long is legal counsel to the Judicial Confirmation Network (www.judicialnetwork,com). Until March 2005, she was a litigation partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She was a law clerk to United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas and to Judge Ralph Winter of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York. She is a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law, cum laude and Order of the Coif, where she was articles editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, and of Dartmouth College. She previously served as a press secretary in the U.S. Senate, for former U.S. Senator Bill Armstrong (R-Colo.) and former U.S. Senator Gordon Humphrey (R-N.H.). In addition to being a daughter, sister, wife and mother.

Cindy Sheehan called in on the extreme liberal Ed Schultz show, which is being guest hosted by Tony Trupiano.

My favorite part was when a caller accused Bush of “committing a felony” and found way to compare his job as a special education teacher to the presidency.

Thank you:

BREITBART – The Justice Department has opened an investigation into the leak of classified information about President Bush’s secret domestic spying program, Justice officials said Friday. The officials, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, said the inquiry will focus on disclosures to The New York Times about warrantless surveillance conducted by the National Security Agency since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Finally. I wouldn’t be surprised if we heard folks—and by folks, I mean Democrats—complaining why there is an investigation into who leaked this.

Michelle Malkin has random, yet logical thoughts.

I really like how this advertisement only targets Bush, yet doesn’t mention their heroes Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter doing the same thing. You can see the advertisement here and a humorous one here. In my opinion, the latter should be the one that was used.

On last night’s The O’Reilly Factor, Bill Goodman, a civil rights attorney and Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian discussed this ad with guest host John Kasich.

BAGHDAD, IraqA 16-year-old from Florida who traveled to Iraq on his own without telling his parents was put on a flight home Friday, the U.S. Embassy said, while warning Americans of the dangers of undertaking similar journeys. Farris Hassan, of Fort Lauderdale, had been under the care of the U.S. Embassy after being on his own in Iraq for several days.

“I am very pleased to announce that the young American citizen who has been in Iraq the past few days has now safely departed Baghdad, and this young American is now on his way back home to his family in the United States,” Consul General Richard B. Hermann said.
