On tonight’s Hannity & Colmes, Fmr. Congressman JC Watts (R – OK) unabashedly responded to Alan’s anti-Bush question:
COLMES: Congressman and Mr. Secretary, it’s good to have you back on the show. Congressman Watts, John Kerry had the same record on weapons as Dick Ccheney did. I can go line item that was the case. I want to talk about in terms of the president’s speech today, what did he say that was new? I didn’t hear anything today from the president’s speech that was a new piece of information or new strategy or new direction or new piece of information that helps us understand what victory means and how we define that.» Read MoreWATTS: Well, then, Alan, the reason you didn’t hear anything from the President today is because you listened to the Presidential response to him as opposed to listening to what he’s saying. He’s been consistent in saying we’re not going to use any artificial time frames. We’re going to continue training. We’re going to continue doing the things we’ve done over the last year. We see that infrastructure taking hold and we can draw down our troops hopefully sometime in the next nine, 12, 14 or 16 months.

The FOX News Store is selling “Holiday Ornaments”, not “Christmas Ornaments”. Ironically this what Bill O’Reilly has been railing against. I am thinking that this may be a misunderstanding as the FOX News Store seems to be managed by some company that has nothing to do with FOX. We shall wait and see.

Mike Johnson of The Alliance Defense Fund and SayChristmas.Org and Pastor Patrick Wooden a Pentecostal Minister appeared on The O’Reilly Factor to discuss the term “Merry Christmas” being shut out of American culture. Johnson and several hundred other lawyers of the ADF are offering their services for free to defend Christmas celebrations in America. Pastor Wooden has started an advertisement and radio campaign to encourage people to support those who recognize Christmas.

Chris Matthews interviewed Sen. John Warner (R – VA) on Hardball tonight about the War in Iraq and the upcoming ‘06 elections. During one segment with the Senator, Matthews listed some Democratic talking point about how Republicans failed in the elections earlier this month. Sen. Warner interrupted Matthews and asked him “What’s the question”, to which Matthews responded “do you think the country is rallying to the President”. Warner schooled Matthews in the successes that the Americans have had in Iraq and what would happen if he we just cut-and-run.

Brown not only thinks that Christmas trees should be called “Holiday trees”, but not that Congress should rescind Christmas as a holiday. Henican thinks that we shouldn’t publicly recognize Christmas. Neither of the two understood that the problem is that we never had this problem before, a “Christmas tree” has always been called a Christmas tree.
