Last night I linked to a blatantly racist post on “The News Blog”, a liberal website that demonizes Maryland Lt. Gov and Senate hopeful, Michael Steele. The post features this picture with an accompanying caption:
Caption: I’s Simple Sambo and I’s running for the Big House
Tim Kaine, the Democratic candidate in the Virginia Gubernatorial race pulled an advertisement that was running on The News Blog earlier today because of this post. Kudos for Kaine, it’s about time we see a liberal with moral values.
Here is the email the campaign sent to Gilliard (The News Blog):
Mr. Gilliard:Please remove all advertising for Kaine for Governor from News Blog (http://stevegilliard.blogspot.com/) immediately.

This has me stewing. I hate Democrats scared of their own shadows. And apparently Virginia’s Tim Kaine (or those running his campaign) is one of them.
No Kos, you just hate Democrats who have some type of value system. Anyways, what is up with using the word hate? It’s a strong word and I know Democrats have a lot of it.
Kos later updates his post to appease the liberals in Virginia.
UPDATE: To be clear, Kaine is still the better of the lot, and I hope he wins. And for all we know, Kaine doesn’t even know about this little controversy. It might’ve been an overzelaous staff member.
In other words: I hate you and what you stand for, but I’ll support you since you’re the only hope we got. More proof that Kos has no morals.

You did say in another discussion you thought David Letterman’s comedy was inappropriate. So to ignore what Fox other network does is well wearing blinders.
I was mistaken I meant to say you always post “You never post things when the Fox “Fair and Balanced? network highlights Black extremist” my mistake. But you never posted the racist version of the Olsen twins. Anther person added the link. My earlier posts states my point.
On lone defender but you never posted the negative feedback he received from the people who spoke after him. These are the thing you accuse liberals of not tell the whole story.
My point is simple racist is racist you can not pick when you chose to acknowledge racism.
I truly enjoy your website, but you should try a less myopic view of the world of politics and American society.

What you’re asking is almost next to impossible. You’re asking me to report on every racist remark made. Perhaps your argument would make sense if my blog was devoted to exposing racism. I really can not believe that you’re complaining about this.
Another reason why your argument makes no sense is because I’m talking about white on black racism and it sounds like you’re saying I’m not.
I’m still not understanding your FOX argument .. I assume you’re trying to put them down for some reason but the way you keep wording it makes it sound like I’m ignoring FOX, when I think you’re trying to say the opposite.
But either way, just end this now because it’s as silly as me saying “you comment on this thread but not other threads on the site”

I thought I was beyond being shocked and appalled by things I saw in the media. I think it’s useful to note that not even the most socialist/liberal hollywood movie would dare parody a black conservative in quite this way, whatever hollywood’s desire to do so. But liberal political operations, undoubtedly lilly white themselves (what black democrat would join himself to the making of this ad?), have just done so.

Pure racism. Every Neocom scraped the bottom of the barrel looking for racism in Bill Bennett’s comments. Now here it is, blatant and hateful. After seeing Sambo, Kos’ support of it, the “exterminate whitey” speaker at the “hate white people march”, and the Nazi/white supremecist twin singers, I sure hope that people will remember what racism actually is.

So that bars him from being racist? Some black people hate other black people who they think “sold out” to “white America”. I know black people who don’t consider Condoleeza Rice, Colin Powell, Michael Steele, or Clarence Thomas to be “black”. Just because two people are of the same race doesn’t mean that one of them can’t be racist towards the other.

Here is the point. The kill whitey guy speaks. After he speaks his comments are condemned. No were that is covered in the conservative media the liberal media just ignored him. Not to belabor the point, Fox Fair and Balanced finds one guy (one guy) a week later and he is posted all over the net as a defender. If this guy was among the normal people in society there would have been supporters the next day.
Here is the thing if you want to report news items and things for discussion. Report the entire context of the event and all events that follow that are related. There is fine line between truth and rumor and rumor is too easy to believe as fact.
