WASHINGTON – In a pre-emptive strike before President Bush’s State of the Union address, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid called on the administration Monday to outline an exit strategy for Iraq while his House counterpart vowed lasting opposition to Social Security benefit cuts.
Woah, Woah, Woah. The man hasn’t even muttered a word out of his mouth and he is already being attacked.
Reid wants the President to make an outline for withdrawal but doesn’t want him to set a deadline just yet. Meanwhile, Senator Kennedy wants immediate withdrawal. This party needs to collaborate with each other before speaking out.
Why don’t they wait to make an ‘opinion’ until after the speech.
