Via Precinct 333
If you can remember, back on October 31, 2004 the IRS informed the NAACP that they were going to audit them. Now they are refusing to cooperate and hand over what the IRS wants. The Precinct Chair want their tax exempt status to be remove..Agreed.

This reminds me of some of those crazy protestors:
PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil – With some branding President Bush a terrorist, leftist activists opposed to the spread of American influence ended the fifth World Social Forum on Monday with a protest against unfettered capitalism and the war in Iraq.Activists from 140 countries then started packing their backpacks, dismantling tents and furling bright red flags after the six-day gathering in Southern Brazil to counter the simultaneous World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
Thousands of people joined a final demonstration march in this southern Brazilian city to close the forum, waving Communist flags and chanting slogans against U.S.-style liberalized trade and the occupation of Iraq.

An Iraqi prison riot leaves four dead and at least six wounded:
BAGHDAD (Reuters) – U.S. troops in Iraq shot dead four detainees on Monday during a riot at the main U.S. prison camp for guerrilla suspects, near the Kuwaiti border.U.S. officers said six prisoners were also wounded in the violence, which affected hundreds of men at Camp Bucca on the day after Iraqis voted in their first free election in decades.
WASHINGTON – The Social Security system will take in more money annually than it pays out in benefits until 2020, two years later than earlier estimated, the Congressional Budget Office reported Monday in a modest change unlikely to alter the growing political debate over the program.Congress’ budget analysts also estimated the program’s trust funds will be depleted in 2052, “meaning that beneficiaries will be able to count on receiving only 78 percent of their scheduled benefits beginning then.
Not so great for me, this will be one year before I turn 65. But probably by then the money given out will be worthless, because of inflation.
WASHINGTON, Jan. 30 – Senator John Kerry said on Sunday that the attacks of Sept. 11 were the “central deciding thing” in his contest with President Bush and that the release of an Osama bin Laden videotape the weekend before Election Day had effectively erased any hope he had of victory.
Are you sure that it wasn’t that people liked him more, or thought that he was better fit to be President than you are? All we hear is ‘outside’ reasons why President Bush won (and John Kerry lost), but not any about President Bush himself. Until the Democrats understand that the reason they lost is because of President Bush himself, then they might as well expect not to win another Presidential election for years to come.
NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton collapsed while giving a speech in Buffalo, New York, on Monday morning, but recovered enough to resume her day’s public appearances, her office said.
The Democratic senator from New York, seen as a potential presidential hopeful, fell ill during a speech at a restaurant on the topic of Social Security. She had complained she had a stomach problem.
Oliver Willis complains
How insightful (and biased) of Oliver to choose one blog out of the thousands of right wing bloggers. Just because one right winger thinks one way, doesn’t mean all of us do. It is very hypocritical of Oliver to point out one distasteful act and some how forget about the left wingers who made jokes about Reagan’s death or [especially] Dick Cheney’s heart problems. Where were you then, Oliver?
I don’t condone any acts making fun of someones health, no matter what their political party is.
I should really change my blogs name to “Oliver Pundit”.

This is something you don’t see everyday (especially from the BBC)
The BBC has apologised for incorrectly broadcasting figures which suggested more Iraqi civilians had been killed by coalition and Iraqi forces than by insurgents.
If they didn’t tell the truth about this, how did we know they are honest or not biased about other stories they run.
WASHINGTON – In a pre-emptive strike before President Bush’s State of the Union address, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid called on the administration Monday to outline an exit strategy for Iraq while his House counterpart vowed lasting opposition to Social Security benefit cuts.
Woah, Woah, Woah. The man hasn’t even muttered a word out of his mouth and he is already being attacked.
Reid wants the President to make an outline for withdrawal but doesn’t want him to set a deadline just yet. Meanwhile, Senator Kennedy wants immediate withdrawal. This party needs to collaborate with each other before speaking out.
Why don’t they wait to make an ‘opinion’ until after the speech.

This should shut up all the pundits who do not validate the Iraqi election. But it is amazing how voting to Iraqis seems more important than it does here.
